Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting with the goal of gaining a dominant position and using armlocks, leglocks and chokes to force an opponent to submit.
This class focuses on grappling without the use of the Gi. We recommended that students interested in No Gi Grappling training still attend the BJJ White Belt Basics classes to get a solid base in BJJ, but it is not mandatory.
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial arts traditions and non-traditions, to be used in competitions.
Muay-Thai, or Thai-Boxing has been thrust into the forefront of Mixed Martial Arts of late as many top competitors are using the style with great success in conjunction with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Capoeira is a Brazilian fight-dance, game, and martial art created by enslaved Brazilians during the 17th Century. The objective is to promote health, fraternity, cultural awareness, and non-violent self-defense through the Capoeira.
CMAA offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai and others techniques in specially tailored Privates Classes with our experienced Instructors.
